I'm Kim Östman from Helsinki, Finland. Welcome to my website!
I was born in 1978 and originally hail from the bilingual town of Pietarsaari on Finland's west coast. Currently I live in Helsinki and work as a Research engineer at Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering, on the topic of radio-frequency electronic circuit design. I am on leave from my post as Senior advisor at the Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council.
I also hold a Ph.D. in the history and sociology of religion. My research interests in that field focus on the intersection of Finnish society and Anglo-American religious movements, specifically Mormonism.
